Ford has officially unveiled the all-new 2010 Ford Taurus that makes its debut at the Detroit Auto Show.
The 2010 Ford Taurus receives all-new styling inside and out that is far more interesting to look at than the current generation. Ford describes the styling of the new Taurus as a combination of style with substance, just like the original Taurus back in 1986.
The new Taurus is powered by a 263 horsepower 3.5L V6 that is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. FWD is standard and all-wheel-drive is optional. The 3.5 EcoBoost engine is also planned at a later date for the Taurus. A two-speed fuel pump and Aggressive Deceleration Fuel Shut-Off technology help the Taurus achieve best in class gas mileage.
There are also many new technological features available on the new Taurus such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Intelligent Access with Push-Button Start,
SecuriCode™ Keyless Entry Keypad and MyKey.
The all-new Taurus will be available this summer at starting price of $25,995, which is the same starting price as the 2009 model.
